Funded Youth Activity Days

We know that children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can often be excluded from class trips and activities.

This may be because more staff are needed to supervise the activity, or because the rest of class may move through the activities too quickly for the SEND individual to fully enjoy it.

Whatever the reason, Yas found it incredibly unfair that these children would be stuck in school while their classmates were having fun. So she volunteered her time to run 1:1 activity days that gave the child just as much fun and enrichment as the rest of the class.

We are working with incredibly local providers to carry on Yasmine's legacy.

*The amount of trips we are able to fund relies directly on the funds we are able to raise. If we do not have sufficient funds at the time of your application, we may have to place you on a waiting list until we can raise more. We will not start to arrange your trip until we have confirmed that our funds are available to avoid disappointment for the young person.

"They weren't allowed to go on the class trip because of their additional needs and Yas thought it was unfair for her to be stuck in school while their classmates were having fun. So she arranged a 1:1 day of activities at PGL that they loved way more than any of us expected."
